Tim & Sarah Arkwright - The Egg Carton

Portland is a city of brunchers. In that witching hour between breakfast and lunch, every restaurant boasting brunch sports long lines of hungry citizens. The Egg Carton prides themselves on making a damn good brunch without the long wait.

Tim & Sarah—a server turned lawyer and a former teacher with a retail background—are the husband-and-wife team behind the Egg Carton. Tim handles the front of the house, providing restaurant-quality customer service, while Sarah makes everything fresh and ready to order. Even the sausage is made from scratch.

When asked for their recommendations, Sarah suggested the FoPo Cristo—French toast with fried egg, cheddar cheese, Canadian bacon, sweet & spicy mustard and strawberry jam. Tim goes for the classic Eggs Benedict. Check out both dishes below:
